View that includes Chunn's Cove to Wolf Cove across the TMR ridge This photograph covers an area from Chunn's Cove seen beyond Town Mountain Road at the top to the lowest elevation in Bartram's Walk near the Wolf Cove entrance, at the bottom of the picture.

Residents of the Town Mountain Mountain corridor, the Beaverdam Community and the Wolf Cove entry area have expressed strong concerns to DOT with respect to the use of the narrow, curving mountain roads for large construction vehicles. DOT officials deny it is a hazard and expressed no concern, yet residents of Town Mountain have repeatedly rounded blind curves to meet trucks that have crossed the middle line. County officials say the problem is not theirs.
