Grove Park Inn speed bumps
About those speed bumps. When we moved to our home in Orlando it was a quiet area. As time passed we found more speeding traffic using our residential roads as a short cut. The organization had speed bumps put in a couple years ago and I have to say overall it has made our own traversing more of a hassle and the outsiders cutting through hasn't really improved although they do slow down for the bumps -not always-then it's noisier with rattles and squeeling brakes. Let's don't lessen our own quality of life. I would like to consider some other alternatives--like more timely police cruising. Say after 4:30 on nice weather weekdays and of course weekends with good weather. No need to waste their time during rain or during the rest of the day. We deserve it.
I noticed that the youtube film ran 5 minutes and 39 seconds. I don't drive slow and it takes me 15 minutes to do the same distance as on the film. Easy to deduce his average speed as certainly over 70MPH.
Just because you don't see more than one doesn' mean they aren't racing against a clock. They compare times when they gather at the parkway intersection or at college street.
