The purpose of Friends of Town Mountain (FoTM) is to educate our members, the general public, and local officials on environmental issues in order to promote responsible development along the seven mile length of the Town Mountain Road neighborhood of Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina, while supporting environmentally responsible development in all the counties and municipalities of Western North Carolina.

Please join us and read read about what’s going on and how your friends and neighbors feel about various topics (local development issues, ‘dark skies’, motorcycle racing and safety along TMR, wildlife, gardening, bike riding, you name it).
